According to what specialized websites have recently reported, DirecTV is broadcasting the matches of the second phase of the Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, both on linear TV through DirecTV Sports, and also through its OTT, DirecTV GO. The second stage of the competition began on October 27th, and will last until this coming Thursday, November 5th.
Each broadcast is complemented with the previous and subsequent analysis of each football match, together with the staff of journalists who are identified with the sports channel. The Copa Sudamericana’s champion team, will qualify for the Conmebol Recopa 2021, to face the champion of the 2020 Copa Libertadores, which is still being played.
Access to Copa Sudamericana coverage through DirecTV GO is exclusive for users from DirecTV in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay. The platform app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. The OTT has also been launched in Mexico, in March this year.
