FUTV, the Costa Rican football channel launched on February 29th, will be part of Claro’s programming grid in Costa Rica. The channel will be available to the company’s satellite customers on channel 136. According to the Costa Rican newspaper ‘La República’, it is estimated that with the addition to Claro’s grid, the channel will reach 125 thousand subscribers to the company.
‘At Claro we constantly work to generate value for our clients with the content they like the most; this is why we already have FUTV available on our programming grid so that they can enjoy national football’, said Carolina Sanchez, spokesperson for Claro Costa Rica.
Other operators that also have FUTV available in their content grid are Cabletica, Telecable and Kolbi. Its adherence to the Tigo programming has not yet been confirmed. FUTV broadcasts, among other contents, the home matches of the teams Deportivo Saprissa, Liga Deportiva Alajuelense, Club Sport Herediano, Club Sport Cartagines, AD Grecia, Asociacion Deportiva Municipal Perez Zeledon and Limon FC.
